Kalous shared before introducing the admissions team, “We have a great team that works together to meet the needs of our prospective students.”

The admissions team consists of five enrollment coaches, Jason McKinney, Jarvis Weber, Corey Meyer, Brandon DeClercq, and Kaiden Huntrods and two Admissions Specialists, Mary Anderson and Madison Bolin.

“The philosophy of our admissions team is to build relationships with students. Whether it is at a high school visit, college fair, or during a Career Exploration Day on campus, we strive to make a connection with students,” said Kalous.

Kalous described the journey that prospective students experience while considering Iowa Lakes Community College by identifying all stages of the communication process.

Hiney added, “With the approval of the Cosmetology program, we will move forward with the design and layout for the program. The program will be located in the former area occupied by the Business and Financial Aid offices on the Emmetsburg Campus.”
