WHY was this scholarship opportunity implemented?

The Last Dollar Scholarship was implemented to help support the State of Iowa’s goal to have 70 percent of Iowans in the workforce to have education or training beyond high school by 2025.

This goal will help to provide Iowan’s with many great career opportunities and employers will have the skilled workforce they need to grow and innovate.
