Participate in Business Etiquette and Mock Interview Session

Many students lack the knowledge and confidence to rock an interview.  By participating in a business etiquette session you have the opportunity to teach students how to present themselves in a business setting and share in-depth information about workplace readiness, resume writing, and interviewing skills.  As many career fields are different, you will speak with students interested in your area of work.

After discussing business etiquette with a small group you will then do quick individual mock interviews with the students.  These interviews should last no longer than 5 minutes to give the students a chance to present themselves to a potential employer and gain confidence in the process.  You will need to come prepared with a few questions that you would ask a potential employee in your line of work.  

When the mock interview is complete you will take roughly 10 minutes to reflect with the student on the things they did well and what things they could do differently to improve their chances of employment.
