TRiO-SSS

One of the first steps to success in college is to make a connection and feel part of a community. TRiO-SSS (Student Support Services) provides support and services to help students achieve and complete their academic studies at Iowa Lakes Community College and transfer to a 4 year college or university to complete a Bachelor’s Degree. 

Our services are designed to enhance academic skills, increase retention and graduation rates, and facilitate the transitional process to the next level of higher education. TRiO-SSS is funded 100% ($290,495) by the U.S. Department of Education and serves 200 students each academic year. A variety of services are provided to assist students.

We are located in room 9 on the Estherville Campus and room 240 on the Emmetsburg Campus.
