Iowa Lakes requires placement test results before registration.  If you have not taken ACT, ASSET, or COMPASS, you may test from your high school or remote location with an approved proctor and following the steps below.

1. Contact your counselor or principal to proctor three-25 minute assessments in reading, math, and writing.

2. Have counselor email ldodge@iowalakes.edu or call 712-362-7935 (Lynn Dodge or Gary Gunderson) to have assessment faxed.  Directions for testing are included in fax.

3. Counselor will fax answer sheet back to Iowa Lakes.

4. Iowa Lakes will notify you or your proctor with the results.

 Do the best you can.  The assessments determine your class placement.
