Associate of Arts (AA) degree
Drake University does not accept the AA degree as meeting the general education requirements. Each course is evaluated and up to 66 credits can be accepted from a community college.

Individual Courses
Students planning to transfer to the College of Pharmacy can check the Transfer Planning by Major web page for recommendations on course selections at Iowa Lakes Community College.

Drake accepts courses at their Iowa Lakes Community College semester hour value. The courses outlined below will satisfy the general education requirements for majors in the College of Arts and Sciences at Drake University. Please work closely with your Iowa Lakes advisor or counselor to select those courses, which will also fulfill requirements for the Iowa Lakes AA degree. A maximum of 66 semester hours of transfer credit from a two-year institution will be accepted.
