Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Our last race of the year is our Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. 

This will be held on Thanksgiving Day morning, November 22, 2012.

A few years ago, we started this Thanksgiving Day tradition - a pleasant 5K along the lake - a fun way to get a holiday workout in.

So put your turkey in the oven and bring the relatives along to  join us for a little race on Thanksgiving morning. 

Registration is at Soper Park in Emmetsburg at 8:00 AM with the race beginning at 8:30. The cost is $10 which includes a t-shirt so please preregister at the Wellness Center to assure the correct size. To register over the phone, call us as 712-852-5311.  

Prizes will be awarded  for 1st place male and female (prizes are appropriately, turkeys) and a pumpkin pie is given to the best dressed.
