The Medical
Assistant 1-year degree program orients students to become multi-skilled
trained professionals.
Special
features of the program include:
Laboratory skills
venipuncture, process routine lab tests in a medical clinic, throat
cultures, electrocardiograms, & etc.
Clinical Assisting
medication administration, assisting physicians with patient
examinations and minor surgery procedures, and learning casting
applications and removal and etc. Administration
reception/appointment skills, insurance coding,
computer skills, medical transcription and etc.
