Iowa Community College Online Consortium (ICCOC)	ed2go

Now you can take college credit courses over the Internet! As part of a consortium of seven Iowa community colleges, Iowa Lakes offers Associate in Degrees entirely over the World Wide Web. This is a cooperative degree program known as the Iowa Community College Online Consortium (ICCOC).

The degree programs are offered with the assistance of eCollege, a Denver-based Internet college course company. Students need to select one of the consortium member colleges as a home college for registration, financial aid, and student support purposes. Students contact their home institution for student services. This makes this type of consortium agreement and online degree unique in the
State of Iowa as well as user friendly for the student.

Iowa Community College Online Consortium Web Site

Iowa Lakes Community College has teamed up with Education To Go to offer a selection of classes via e-mail and the Internet. All you need is a computer, Internet access and, if you are learning a particular computer program, the software you are learning. These interactive online courses typically run for 6 weeks, with 2 lessons posted to each student's e-mail weekly, making a total of 12 lessons. They can be taken for credit or non-credit. Courses are available with a new start date each month.
