Recent expansion of gaming in Iowa has created a

skill areas of human resources management, business
management, marketing and interpersonal
communications. It also provides you with an
overview of vital technical skills necessary to
succeed in gaming management. The Casino Management
Associate in Science degree incorporates internships
into the curriculum so you have a clear view of the
industry and your career opportunities.
Development of the Casino Management program is an
important part of Iowa Lakes Community College’s
commitment to addressing the needs of local industry
partners. The benefits are two-fold. First, this is
an educational avenue for students who wish to
pursue careers in this rapidly growing industry.
Second, it provides industry with a pool of trained
managers from which to fill the management positions
that are an important part of any growing industry.
The
Casino Management program has also established
articulation agreements with baccalaureate granting
institutions for seamless transfer if you wish to
further your education. It is offered face-to-face
and online to serve a larger pool of students.
