The world of accounting offers many possibilities for graduates including careers in public accounting, private accounting, or governmental and nonprofit accounting.  As we look toward the new millennium, accounting remains among the top career choices in terms of job opportunities and salary levels.  As an accounting graduate, you can join others who have found excellent career opportunities in the world of accounting.

You may choose from the 2-semester accounting diploma or the 5-semester Associate in Science Degree.  Both programs are designed to prepare you for employment in business, governmental agencies, manufacturing entities, legal and accounting firms, insurance offices, and agribusiness firms.  If you choose to enroll in the 5-semester program, you will complete many of the accounting courses offered in most 4-year degree programs.

Listed is the suggested sequence of courses for both the accounting diploma and the Associate in Science Degree.  Additional developmental courses may be required before you can enroll in college English or mathematics.
