Iowa Lakes has partnered with several four-year college institutions to provide the last two years of a Bachelor’s Degree to area students.  These colleges provide their upper-level courses usually on the Iowa Lakes campuses.  Briar Cliff from Sioux City, Buena Vista University from Storm Lake, and University of Iowa, College of Nursing provide an opportunity for students to complete their Bachelor’s degree here at Iowa Lakes.

Iowa Lakes has partnered with the University of Iowa on the university's 2 Plus 2 Guaranteed Graduation plan. By Providing early access to UI advisors, the 2 Plus 2 plan can help Iowa Lakes students choose the courses they need to transfer to Iowa after two years and obtain a bachelor's degree at Iowa after just two more years.

An opportunity exists with the University of Iowa to Complete a Bachelor of Applied Studies degree.
In March of 2007, Iowa Lakes and the University of Iowa signed an agreement to support students desiring a U of I Bachelor of Applied Studies degree.

An opportunity exists with Iowa State University for those planning to transfer.
Through the Admissions Partnership Program, Iowa Lakes Community College students who plan to pursue bachelor's degrees at Iowa State will receive special benefits to help pave the way for academic success at both schools.
