LAKER MEN BACK IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Iowa Lakes Community College men’s basketball team is
back in the national rankings. The Lakers are ranked 15th
in the latest NJCAA poll. Iowa Lakes is one of three Region
XI teams currently ranked in the polls.

High school students participating
in dual enrollment programs through
the Community Colleges of Iowa in a
partnership with local community
school districts saved the State the
equivalent of $21.7 million in
future state general aid assistance
at other educational institutions
and saved their families $30.7
million in future college-related
expenses, according to a recent
study by Strategic Economics Group.

choirs from sixteen schools will be
performing for clinicians Dr. Kurt
Runestad from Doane College, and
Clay Blackman from Omaha.
