LAKES SET TO HOST REGION XI
TOURNAMENT
The pairings have been set for the
2008 Region XI Men’s Basketball
Tournament to be held at Iowa Lakes
Community College on March 1 and 2.
Eight teams in Region XI will
converge in Estherville to begin
their quest for the Region XI
Championship and a berth in the 2008
NJCAA Division II National
Tournament.

TOURNEY
Richard Kokesh has advanced to the
NJCAA National Wrestling
Championships by placing 4th at the
North District Tournament in
Willmar, Minn. on Sunday, Feb. 10.
Kokesh is wrestling “independently”
since the Iowa Lakes team still has
a few months until they are
official.

The ever-popular coffee house series
is ready to start a new year. The
first coffee house for 2008 will be
held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m.
and will last for about 90 minutes.
Coffee House Nights meet in the Max,
the student center of Iowa Lakes
Community College, on the
Estherville campus.
