Four students from Iowa Lakes
Community College will participate
in the Okoboji Entrepreneurial
Institute in early August. This is
the second year for the institute
and first time Iowa Lakes students

outing on June 1 at River Road Golf
Club in Algona. Seventy-five
golfers hit the links to benefit
Kossuth County residents with
scholarships to attend Iowa Lakes.

the National Skills USA competition

INNOCENCE PROJECT OF IOWA
A new nonprofit organization, the
Innocence Project of Iowa, has been
founded by a group of attorneys,
professors, and students from across
the state to help prevent and
resolve wrongful convictions.
Students from the Paralegal/Legal
Studies Program at Iowa Lakes
Community College will play an
important role in the organization.
