participate in the 13th Annual Iowa
Collegiate All-Star Concert Band.
Kristi Harson, a music major from
Everly, has been chosen on the
flute; Megan Struthers, a business
major from Milford, has been
selected on the tenor sax; and Laura
Marchand, a music major from Spirit
Lake, has been selected on bass
clarinet. The Collegiate All-Star
Concert Band will perform in C.Y.
Stephen’s Auditorium at Iowa State
University on Saturday, Nov. 18,
2006, at 2:30 p.m. The concert is in
conjunction with the Iowa Music
Educators Association.

College to offer dual enrollment
college level classes to their
students. Dual enrollment allows
students to earn high school and
college credit by enrolling in
college credit classes while still
in high school. The scope of dual
enrollment offerings is to expand
and enhance the high school
curriculum by offering students
access to classes not presently
available at their local high
