has interned with KIOW-FM, Forest
City. Chris Grell, Clear Lake,
worked at 107.3 KIOW-FM, with duties

writing and reading.

DRIVE TO HELP PROVIDE CELL PHONES TO
SENIOR CITIZENS
Students in the Criminal Justice
program at Iowa Lakes Community
College are working with the Emmet
County Sheriff's Department to
enhance the safety of senior
citizens by providing them with used
cell phones.

Area golfers will want to attend the
final Iowa Lakes Community College
Scholarship Golf Outing on Sept. 23
at Spring Valley Golf Course of
rural Livermore. Proceeds from the
event will fund scholarships for
Kossuth County residents attending
Iowa Lakes Community College.
