MARY LARSCHEID NAMED NEW SPIRIT LAKE CAMPUS DIRECTOR
Iowa Lakes Community College has a new Director of the Spirit Lake
Campus, pending Board of Trustees action later this month. Mary Larscheid,
who is currently an Associate Professor of Biology at the
Estherville Campus, will begin her Spirit Lake duties July
1.

Business Competition Day at Iowa Lakes Community college was held
April 1 at the Emmetsburg Campus of Iowa Lakes. Ten area high
schools with 200 students competed in this year's event.

LOCAL TESTING SITES AT IOWA LAKES TO EARN A COLLEGE DEGREE
Military service
members have been granted greater access to examinations that can
help them shorten the time it takes to earn a college degree.
What's even better is that the exams are available locally and are
paid for by the military.

BROWN DEDICATES LIFE TO STAMP OUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Ten years after the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, Tanya Brown,
the sister of Nicole, has re-dedicated her life to educating
others to help stamp out domestic violence. And, northwest Iowans
will have a chance to hear her message in late April.
