from 9:15 a.m. until noon. All area high school juniors and

CITY COMES TO IOWA LAKES
Chicago’s legendary comedy theatre The Second City will
appear at Iowa Lakes Community College on the Estherville
Campus, Sunday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. in the Iowa Lakes
gymnasium.

The date has been set for the 2003 Italian Buffet at the
Emmetsburg Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
Organizers will hold the popular event on Monday, Oct. 27.

CANDIDATES TO BE INTERVIEWED
Four individuals have been selected to interview for the
position of Executive Dean at the Emmetsburg Campus of
Iowa Lakes Community College. Those to be interviewed (in

TECHNOLOGY WEEK OBSERVED SEPT. 21-27
Students in the Surgical Technology program at Iowa Lakes
Community College will be observing the week of Sept.
21-27 as Surgical Technology week. The theme for this
year’s celebration is “Operating Excellence.”

INCREASED
ENROLLMENTS REPORTED AT IOWA LAKES
Another increase in enrollment has been experienced at
Iowa Lakes Community College. This becomes the ninth
consecutive fall term for an enrollment record. College
officials report overall enrollment is at 3,753 students –
up 3.6 percent from last fall.

AVAILABLE THROUGH IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AT CLAY
COUNTY FAIR
For the third year in a row, Iowa Lakes Community
College's Environmental Studies Program will be presenting
a special program at the Clay County Fair which will deal
with well water pollution problems. They will be at the
Iowa Lakes Activity Center located on the upper level of
the Agriculture Building.

AREA RADIO STATION
Students in the Auto Collision and Paint Technology Program at
Iowa Lakes Community College learned new skills during the past
college year - thanks to a hands-on project with an area radio
station.
