IOWA LAKES AVIATION PROGRAM TEMPORARILY RE-LOCATES DURING SUMMER
The flight training aircraft from the Iowa Lakes Community College Aviation program will temporarily relocate due to the runway construction project planned at the Estherville Municipal Airport.

TRUSTEES APPROVE TUITION AND FEE CHANGES FOR 2003-2004 COLLEGE YEAR
The Board of Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College met Tuesday night and officially approved tuition and fees for the next college year.

AREA STUDENTS TO COMPETE AT SkillsUSA-VICA NATIONAL COMPETITION
More than a dozen students with northwest Iowa connections will compete for Iowa Lakes Community College at the national SkillsUSA-VICA competition in Kansas City June 23-27.

COLLEGE FOR KIDS PLANNED AT IOWA LAKES
Registrations are now being taken for 2003 “College for Kids” at the Algona Center of Iowa Lakes Community College.  “College for Kids” will meet July 21-25 from 12:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day.  Tuition is $50 and covers all of the materials used in class plus a “College for Kids” T-shirt.

COLLEGE FOR KIDS PLANNED AT IOWA LAKES
Again this summer, Iowa Lakes Community College will offer “College for Kids” for area students entering grades 1-6 in the fall.  “College for Kids” will be held at the Estherville Campus July 28 – Aug.1, 8:30 a.m. to noon.

EVENT PLANNED FOR EMMETSBURG’S JULY 4TH CELEBRATION
Fun in Emmetsburg on the 4th of July includes the second annual Mini “Try-Athlon.”  It’s a swim/bike/run event at Five Island Lake for all kinds of athletes including the weekend warrior.

ANGIE HOFF SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT WITH IOWA LAKES
Iowa Lakes Community College Head Women’s Basketball Coach Brian Radtke has announced the signing of Angie Hoff of Sioux Falls, S.D., to a National Junior College Letter of Intent.
