IN POPULARITY
The demand for online courses offered at Iowa Lakes
Community College continues to increase. Enrollments for
the Spring of 2004 are up more than 40 percent. The
reason? Flexibility.

OFFER OPTIONS TO STUDENTS
There's been a great deal of growth since Iowa Lakes
Community College began offering its first online courses
in spring of 1999 through the college's Continuing
Education offices. However, the need of each individual
student has remained the focus of this method of learning.

MASSAGE THERAPY
PROGRAM RECEIVES FINAL APPROVAL
The long hoped-for Massage Therapy program planned for the
Spencer Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College has
received final approval from the Iowa Board of Examiners
for Massage Therapy and will begin in January of 2004.

RIDGE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS NAMED
Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the recipients
of the 2003-04 Forest Ridge Scholarship. Courtney
Pedersen and Heidi Lotz are both are full-time traditional
students at Iowa Lakes' Estherville Campus and will
graduate in May 2004.
