NORTH IOWA AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Iowa Lakes mens and womens basketball
teams will host North Iowa Area
Community College Wednesday, January
27th at the Iowa Lakes Community College
gymnasium in Estherville. The women
play at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men at
7:30 p.m.
Iowa Lakes Women are currently 6 9
overall and 1 5 in the ICCAC (Iowa
Community College Athletic Conference).
North Iowa Area Community College is 7
11 overall and 1 5 in the ICCAC. The
Lakers are led in scoring by Shannon
Heard at 15 points per game. BreeAnn
Hageman and Shayna Geitzenauer average
10 points per contest.
The Laker Men are 11 5 on the season
and 2 2 in the ICCAC. North Iowa Area
Community College is currently ranked
10th in the country, with a record of 15
4 overall and 3 2 in the ICCAC. The
game will feature the top two scoring
teams in the conference, with NIACC
averaging 87 points per game and Iowa
Lakes averaging 86.
The Patin dancers will be performing at
halftime of both games.
Admission is $5 per person. College
students and K 12 students are
