LANDSCAPE AND TURFGRASS STUDENT RECEIVES PALO
ALTO COUNTY GARDEN CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
A student in the Landscape and Turfgrass
Technology Program at Iowa Lakes Community
College is the recipient of a scholarship from
the Palo Alto County Garden Club.
Evan Grell, Ida Grove, was selected for the
scholarship after responding to an essay
question concerning the value of garden clubs in
a community.
“I’m very grateful to have the support of an
organization like this,” said Grell.
Grell is a sophomore student at Iowa Lakes.
The Landscape and Turfgrass Technology program
is a two-year Associate in Applied Science
program. Students receive three, on-the-job
training experiences at a business of their
choice.
