IOWA LAKES SIGNS CHRIS FITZPATRICK

Iowa Lakes Community College Athletics Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Troy Larson announced that Chris Fitzpatrick, a 6’6” post player from Spencer, is planning on attending Iowa Lakes and plans to participate on the men’s basketball team.

“Were pleased to have Chris join us here at Iowa Lakes,” said Coach Larson “Chris has a great upside, and we are looking forward to watching him improve and grow the next couple of years.”

Fitzpatrick averaged 12.6 points per game, 9.9 rebounds, and shot 73 percent from the floor during the ’07-’08 season at Spencer High School, playing for Coach Bob Haak.

Iowa Lakes is coming off a 20 – 11 season in which they finished 3rd in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.
