IOWA LAKES SURVEY WANTS OPINIONS FROM
THE PUBLIC
Iowa Lakes Community College wants to
gather lots of opinions in its 2008
Community of Learners Survey.
The survey will provide views of the
college’s current operations as well as
ideas for the future.
“This will help us plan for the future
of Iowa Lakes,” said Judy Cook,
Executive Director of Planning and
Development. “We want to hear from a
good number of individuals from across
our region. The more surveys that are
taken, the more valid the data becomes.”
There are 24 questions on the survey and
it takes approximately three minutes to
complete. The topics ask respondents to
reply with an opinion as to how much
they agree or disagree with a statement.
Topics covered include the quality of
education; preparation for job entry;
continuing education programs;
partnerships with business, industry,
government and K-12 schools; as well as
areas the college could improve upon for
the future.
In addition, survey takers may also
offer personal comments on the survey.
To take the survey, participants are
asked to go to college Web site at
www.iowalakes.edu and click on the
2008 Community of Learners Survey.
