TWO STUDENTS WILL PURSUE WRESTLING AT IOWA LAKES

Iowa Lakes Community College’s newly formed wrestling program has announced that Lanard Oglesby and Rowan Stander, who will be attending Iowa Lakes this fall, will walk-on and pursue wrestling careers.

Oglesby, who will wrestle in the 149 pound weight class, is from Winston Salem, N.C., and was a state champion his senior year. He has a career record of 119-41.

Stander, who will wrestle in the 165 pound weight class, is from Omaha, Neb., and was a Freestyle Greco State Champion in 2006. He was also a three-time national qualifier in ’06, ’07 and ’08. He has a career record of 121-38.
