UPWARD BOUND PARTICIPANTS
ELIGIBLE FOR SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM
The Iowa Lakes Community College Upward Bound
program has announced its sponsorship of the
summer food service program.
Individuals who are Upward Bound participants
are automatically eligible to receive free
program meal benefits at eligible sites.
Acceptance and participation requirements for
the program and all activities are the same for
all regardless of race, color, national origin,
gender, age or disability, and there will be no
discrimination in the course of the meal
service.
Meals will be provided from June 9 to July
18, at the Emmetsburg Campus of Iowa Lakes.

The Upward Bound program is designed to
assist qualified high school students prepare
for postsecondary education. The students must
meet low income and/or first generation (neither
parent has a college degree) government
guidelines.
