SUMMER GRADS REMINDED TO COMPLETE
APPLICATIONS
Iowa Lakes Community College students who
are planning to complete their degree this
summer are reminded to apply online to
receive their degree or diploma – even if
they don’t plan to go through the
commencement exercises in July.
All students are to complete the application
so that the Director of Records and
Registration has time to perform an ‘audit
review’ to ensure that all grades have been
posted and that all classes are completed
for the requirements of the degree for which
they are applying.
To complete the application, students are
asked to go to the college Web site:
www.iowalakes.edu,
click on the “Online Services” heading in
the gold bar, then select “Graduation
Application.” Students who are
attending graduation ceremonies are asked to
fill in their height, weight and cap size.
(Cap sizes should be measured in inches
around the student’s head, approximately one
inch above their ears.)
Summer graduation applications are due
Monday, June 2.
The Summer Graduation ceremony is Friday,
July 25, starting at 7 p.m. on the
Emmetsburg Campus.
Students are reminded that to receive their
degree, they must
fill out the graduation application
form – even if they do not plan to attend
the ceremony. Those with questions may
contact Elaine Sidles at the Emmetsburg
campus at (712) 852-5265 or 1-800-242-5108
ext. 5265; or Linda Christensen at the
Estherville campus at (712) 362-7922 or
1-800-242-5106 ext. 7922.
