SOPER SHOOTS 95 ON DAY TWO
Ricca Soper turned in a 95 on the second day of
the Women’s NJCAA National Golf Tournament in
Daytona Beach, Fla.
The 95 puts her two-day total at 184 when
coupled with her opening day score of 89.
“Ricca hit the ball better off the tee today,”
said Coach Dan Soper. “The only problem today
was that she didn’t putt as well as yesterday.
She should make the cut.”
Due to the staggered tee times, Soper will not
be sure of her standing versus the field until
everyone has completed the second round. 21 of
the 45 individual golfers will be cut after all
the scores have been tabulated at the end of
today (May 14). All 112 of the team participants
will still continue to play.
