JACKSON PARR COMMITS TO DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY

After playing two seasons for Iowa Lakes Community College, Jackson Parr has decided to continue his basketball and academic career at Dakota State University in Madison, S.D.

Parr, a 6’5” forward from Gold Coast, Australia, averaged 5.5 points and 5.1 rebounds in two seasons for the Lakers. He helped Iowa Lakes to a 21-10 overall record and a 9 - 5 record in regional play this season. At the conclusion of the season, Parr was awarded honorable mention all Iowa Community College Athletic Conference honors.

“Jackson worked extremely hard in his two years at Iowa Lakes to make himself into a better college basketball player,” said Coach Troy Larson. “Dakota State is getting a player who works extremely hard and is very physical.”

At Dakota State, Parr will play for Coach Wade Kooiman and will look to make an impact in the Dakota Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II.
