TURN IN THIRD ROUND SCORES IN PHOENIX
The three Iowa Lakes Men’s Golf Team
national qualifying members completed
the third round at the NJCAA Division II
National Men’s Golf Tournament at Palm
Valley Golf Course in Phoenix, Ariz.
Tom Thompson of Kimball, S.D., shot a
79, and that score coupled with this
opening round of 76 and second round 78
puts him in a tie for 52nd place with a
three-day total of 233.
Ross Froehlich of Algona shot an 87 in
the third round, which gave him a total
score of 161 when added to his opening
day score of 79 and second day score of
82. His scores put him in a tie for
104th place.
Nick Christensen of Mission, Texas,
turned in his best score yet, shooting
an 80. This puts him in a tie for 109th
place when added to his opening round
scores of 84 and 86, respectively.

final round today (May 23). Tee-times
were not yet available for the final
round.
