MITCH BAIN COMMITS TO DAKOTA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY

After playing two seasons for Iowa Lakes Community College, Mitch Bain has decided to continue his basketball and academic career at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, S.D.

Bain, a 6’0” guard from Nassau, Bahamas, averaged 12.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and three assists his sophomore season for the Lakers. He helped Iowa Lakes to a 21-10 overall record and a 9 - 5 record in regional play this season. At the conclusion of the season Bain was awarded 2nd team All Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

“Mitch has the ability to be a high impact player at Dakota Wesleyan,” said Coach Troy Larson. “The Wesleyan coaching staff liked the fact that he is talented offensively and can play numerous positions on the floor.”

At Dakota Wesleyam, Bain will play for Coach John Hemenway and will look to make an impact in the Great Plains Conference in NAIA Division II.
