IOWA LAKES CROSS COUNTRY SIGNS RUNNER

The Iowa Lakes Community College cross country team recently signed Bart Zimmer for its fall 2008 season.

Zimmer, who currently lives in Iowa City, ran cross country and track for Adair-Casey High School. He ran at the state cross country meet as an individual qualifier in high school and will make a great addition to the team. Coach Molly Struve is excited to add Zimmer to the roster. ­­­­

“Bart’s high school coach gave very high recommendations for him. He has a great deal of running experience and is looking forward to starting school this fall. He is going to be enrolled in the Wind Energy & Turbine Technology program on the Estherville campus, which will require him to be motivated academically as well,” said Struve.
