2008 TRIO NATIONAL DAY OF
SERVICE
In recognition of the TRiO National Day of
Service, students and staff from Iowa Lakes
Community College TRiO programs will be reading
to local elementary classrooms through the month
of March. This project is in conjunction with
the National Educational Association’s National
Reading Month.
TRiO staff and current TRiO students will be
teaming with local grade school classrooms to
share a moment of reading as a way to show
appreciation and to thank the community for its
support of our TRiO Programs.
