FREE FAMILY CAREER CARNIVAL TO OFFER ‘FUTURE LOOK’

Help in deciding a future career will be offered to those attending a Family Career Carnival, April 29, from 5:30- 8:30 p.m. at the Smith Wellness Center on the Iowa Lakes Community College campus in Emmetsburg. This free event is open to all students in grades 5-8 and their families.

The carnival will allow students and their families to explore career and educational options, learn about many different careers by professionals in that field, take part in hands-on-activities, win door prizes and enjoy a free meal.

This event is sponsored by Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound and the American Association of University Women. Many local professional and educational organizations and representatives will host booths and participate in the event.

Students in all area schools grades 5-8 and their families are invited to attend.
