THREE LAKER WOMEN NAMED TO ALL REGION TEAMS
Three Iowa Lakes Community College women’s
basketball players were named to the 2008
All-Region teams. Samantha Boje was a first team
selection, Shanda Novak was honored on the
second team, and Karissa Kramer earned honorable
mention honors.
Boje, a freshman guard from Waseca, Minn.,
averaged 11.1 points and 2.4 assists per game.
She was fourth overall in the region for free
throw percentage.
Novak, a sophomore forward from Oxford, IA,
averaged 12.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
She was also in the top ten in Region XI for
scoring and rebounding.
Kramer, a sophomore guard from Sleepy Eye,
Minn., averaged 11.6 points, 4.2 steals and 4.9
assists per game. Kramer was first in the region
in steals and fifth in assists.
The Laker women ended their season with a 19-10
overall record and 10-8 in the region.
