COLLEGE STUDENTS HELP AREA ORGANIZATION
Students in the Hotel and Restaurant
Management program at Iowa Lakes Community
College are the recipients of a check,
thanks to the Knights of Columbus of the
Graettinger
Immaculate
Conception parish.
The students used March’s Spaghetti Dinner
in Graettinger as a learning experience on
how to prepare food for a large number of
individuals.
The Knights of Columbus members of
Graettinger sponsor the event and the
students prepare the food.
“It worked well having all the help that
Steve Olerich and the students provided in
food preparation,” said Steve Dobbins Grand
Knight of the
Immaculate
Conception
Knights of Columbus. “We’re a new chapter
and it really made a difference with the
organization of the event.”
With the success of this year behind them,
Dobbins reports his group will begin plans
for a repeat event next year.
