WELLNESS MEMBERSHIP HAS ‘RELAXING’ REWARD
Losing weight
is listed many times as one of the good intentions on
countless New Year’s resolutions; however some experts
believe there is a better resolution for living healthier.
“A better
life style is being promoted as the best way to lose the
weight and to feel healthier at the same time,” said Deb
Knight of the Smith Wellness Center in Emmetsburg.
And a great
way to get both is to become a member of the Wellness
Center.
“If a better
life style is what you are looking for, the Smith Wellness
Center is a perfect place to start,” said Knight.
Finding the
right exercise is easy at the Wellness Center.
“If water
exercise is your preference, our swimming pool is between
84-85 degrees all year long,” Knight said. “If you prefer
walking or running that can be done all year long as well
either on our treadmills or in the gym.”
“There, you
will not find snow or biting cold in the winter time or
biting bugs in the summer time. Many of our members enjoy
group exercise which can be fun and motivating - we offer
kickboxing, water aerobics, step aerobics, Pilates and even
body sculpting.”
In addition,
the Wellness Center offers personal trainers and a massage
therapist who are available by appointment.
And, there’s
an additional benefit for new members who join during
January, February and March.
“If you are
joining the Wellness Center for the first time, we will give
you a coupon for just such a reward – a 30 minute session
with our new massage therapist,” Knight added.
