IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO HOST
JAZZ BAND CONTEST AND SHOW/JAZZ CHOIR FESTIVAL

This month, Iowa Lakes Community College will be hosting thousands of high school students for five days of performances with feedback from experienced judges.

On January 15 – 17, high school jazz bands will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the Iowa Lakes Community College annual Jazz Band Contest.

Then, on January 22nd-23rd, high school and junior high show choirs and jazz choirs will be performing for clinicians. These clinicians will be working with the groups in the Iowa Lakes Community College educational Show/Jazz Choir Festival.

There is no admission fee to attend any of these events and the public is invited to attend. Please contact Judy Klunder, 712-362-7972, or check the Iowa Lakes Web site for the specific schedule of high school groups.
