Avera Holy Family Hospital has established a scholarship at Iowa Lakes Community College. This scholarship is designed to not only assist students aspiring to the nursing profession, but to give back to the communities of Emmet County by assuring quality nurses for future employment, hopefully in the local area.

Eligible applicants for the Avera Holy Family Hospital Nursing Scholarship must be full-time students from Emmet County, entering the Associate Degree Nursing (Registered Nursing) program at Iowa Lakes Community College while maintaining a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to applicants displaying financial need determined by FAFSA form results. The recipient must use the award for tuition, books or fees.
