IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS PRESIDENTIAL
SCHOLARSHIP
Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2008 spring
semester Presidential Scholarship based on academic ability
as determined by high school GPA, class rank and/or ACT
score.
This semester’s recipients from Iowa include Kerri Armstrong
of Albert City; Anna Dallman of Britt; Courtney Henningsen,
Kelsey McCain of Emmetsburg; Alex Hevern, Cassie Albertson,
Jill Jensen, Trent Prather, Whitney VanRoekel, Ashley
Watkins of Estherville and Emily Geerdes of Everly.
Also from Iowa: Mindy Meyer, Halicia Zwiefel of Fenton;
Cierra Nelson, Sarah Subbert of Graettinger; Randee
Fahlenkamp, Kayla Williams of Hartley; Kristen Christoffer
of Lake Park; Clayton Uhl of Mapleton and Lane Mars of
Orange City.
In addition, Iowa honorees included Shanda Novak of Oxford;
Avis Dumdei of Paton; Jane Miner of Ruthven; Allison Rogers
of Ringsted, Jessica Hill of Schleswig; Rebecca Lindberg of
Sibley; Jaclyn Fear of Spencer; Lisa Burmeister, Shari
Leach, Gineal Schrunk of Spirit Lake; Tawny Smith of Webb;
Allison Classen of West Bend and Melissa Lancaster of
Whittemore.
Recipients from Minnesota are Logan Boesch of Amboy; Misty
Kreel of Ceylon; Hannah Downing of Elk River; Katherine
Heise of Elmore; Karissa Kramer of Sleepy Eye; Jenna Tammel
of Spring Valley; Elizabeth Miller of St. Charles and
Melanie Schweiss of Welcome.
Other states’ recipients are Jynna Coyle of Belle Fourche,
S. D.; Kenneth Tomek of Sioux Falls, S. D. and Matthew
Leffler of Flagstaff, Ariz.
