IOWA LAKES STUDENT LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS NAMED

Iowa Lakes Community College annually awards scholarships to individuals with leadership roles in Student Senate, the Spindrift (college newspaper) and Student Broadcasting at the college.

Student Senate Scholarship recipients for 2007-08 are Amy Hotovec, Jen Muhlbauer, Allison Classen, Nichole Li and Jessica Weyer of Emmetsburg; Joe Feauto of Akron, Emily Geerdes of Everly; Julie Johnson of Spencer; Kelly Kessenich of LeMars; and Caryn Robinson of Cylinder.

Also receiving leadership awards were Jeremy White and Jessie Smith of Estherville; Sarah Welienga of Orange City; Elizabeth Rusch of Hartley; Tina Dudley and April Wolf of Algona; Alejandra Rodriguez of Grand River; as well as Michael Blair and Jason Burton of Spirit Lake.

Other awards went to Anna Dallman of Britt; Becky Tatman of Everly; and, Melissa Radunz of Ocheyedan. Students from Minnesota are Meagan Hanson of Lakefield; Alex Ehrich of Blue Earth; Ijeoma Nnebedum of Lake Elmo; and, Candice Rebstock of Franklin.

Broadcasting Scholarships recipients for 2007-08 are Bill Geelan of Ruthven and John Hartigan of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Spindrift Scholarship recipients for 2007-08 are Kira Helmers of Sherburn, Minn., and Michele Pattison of Estherville.
