EMPLOYMENT AND INTERNSHIP FAIR PLANNED

Area employers who have job openings are encouraged to participate in an upcoming job fair at Iowa Lakes Community College. A spring term ‘Employment and Internship Fair’ will be held at Iowa Lakes Community College during March.

This is an opportunity for area employers to meet with students and other job seekers from the community to explore employment opportunities. Part-time and full-time employment as well as internship possibilities will be of interest to all attending.

A Nursing and Health Care Occupations Job Fair will be held at the Emmetsburg campus on Mon., March 3 from 9 to noon. The Employment and Internship Fair for all other careers will be held on the Emmetsburg campus on Tues., March 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and on the Estherville campus on Wed., March 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At this time, employers who have hiring needs are being sought to participate. Those firms which have the need to fill part-time or full-time positions, temporary summer positions, or internship positions, will have the opportunity to meet with Iowa Lakes Community College students in a wide range of programs and majors. There is no cost to participate.
