FAST TRACK CLASS ADDED TO SPRING BREAK OFFERINGS

Due to the strong popularity of Fast Track courses, Iowa Lakes Community College has added a Speech class to its Spring Break line-up of classes.

A Fundamentals of Oral Communication class will be offered at the Spencer campus. Class dates are Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 as well as Monday through Thursday, March 17-20. Classes run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

In addition, several Fast Track and online classes are also offered throughout the summer months, although registrations for those classes will be at a later date.

Students take Fast Track classes for an assortment of reasons. Some are interested in the courses to lighten their course load the following college semester. Others use the classes to reach the goal of graduating early. While other students take this opportunity to ‘catch up.’

Students who do not currently attend Iowa Lakes will need to fill out an application. To apply, go to www.iowalakes.edu. Students should then contact the Records and Registration office at 1-866-IA-LAKES and ask for either extension 5265 or 7922.

Early decisions are encouraged as this class is expected to fill rapidly.
