CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY STUDENT RECEIVES
SCHOLARSHIP FROM STATEWIDE ORGANIZATION
An Iowa Lakes Community College Construction
Technology student is the recipient of a
scholarship from a statewide group.
Michael Snoderly, sophomore, from Emmetsburg,
received a $750 scholarship from the Iowa Ready
Mixed Concrete Association (IRMCA). Snoderly was
recognized as a 2008 scholarship recipient at
the IRMCA statewide meeting March 3 in Council
Bluffs.
The Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association was
formed in 1949 as a state organization
representing the ready mixed concrete industry.
Its membership includes ready mixed concrete
producers, material suppliers, equipment
manufacturers, and other companies interested in
promoting the use of ready mixed concrete.
Each year the organization holds an auction of
items donated by members of IRMCA and the
dollars generated are then directed to the
group’s scholarship fund.
