PRAIRIE STATES MANAGEMENT SCHOLARSHIP
ESTABLISHED AT IOWA LAKES
Iowa Lakes Community College is announcing the
establishment of the Prairie States Management
Scholarship.
Larry and Brent McAllister of Prairie States
Management in Emmetsburg have always supported
Iowa Lakes Community College. However, this year
they stepped up their support by accepting an
invitation to join the Iowa Lakes President’s
Circle of giving by committing to a minimum gift
of $2,500 annually. As a result of this new
partnership with Iowa Lakes, Prairie States
Management is establishing this scholarship.
“Prairie States established this scholarship to
support Iowa Lakes Community College, its
students and the Swine Program. This scholarship
is based on merit and is designed to assist the
applicant that most excels in this program
during their first year with a considerable
scholarship to complete the program,” stated
Shan Ray, Iowa Lakes Institutional Advancement
Executive Director.
Eligible candidates must be planning to enroll
full time during 2008-09 in their second year in
the Swine Option of Ag Production Technology.
The award will be given to the applicant who
earned the highest GPA during their first year
in the Swine Option of Ag Production Technology.
