IOWA LAKES SIGNS TWO ELC-AR
RUNNERS
The Iowa Lakes Community College Cross
Country Team recently signed Olivia Craig and
Dane Ross for the fall 2008 season.
Craig, who is currently a senior at
Armstrong-Ringsted High School, has been a
member of the ELC-AR cross country team for the
past four years. She was also a member of this
year’s state qualifying team.
“Olivia has been involved in cross country
for the past four to five years, so she will
bring lots of experience to the team. I think
she has a great deal of talent and I am looking
forward to helping her use that talent at the
college level,” said Coach Molly Struve.
Ross, who is a senior at Estherville Lincoln
Central High School, has been a member of the
ELC-AR cross country team throughout his high
school career.
“Dane is a hard worker and will be a positive
addition to our men’s team. I had the
opportunity to watch Olivia and Dane run a
number of times this year,” said Coach Struve.
“They were part of a great high school program
and I am confident their successes will continue
while running at the college level.”
The Iowa Lakes cross country team will be
starting their 6th season this fall at the
NJCAA Division I level. To learn more about Iowa
