IOWA LAKES RELEASES WOMEN’S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

The Iowa Lakes Women’s Basketball team will kick-off the ’07-’08 season by hosting the Dakota Wesleyan JV team on Nov. 1.

The women’s team heads into this season coming off a 27-4 season in which they ranked as high as 14th in the nation. The women’s team also recorded the highest GPA in the nation for NJCAA II colleges with a 3.59.

The schedule includes 13 home games, 14 road games and two neutral contests. The schedule also includes 18 Region XI contests.

“I am very excited about this year’s team,” said Coach Radtke. “They seem very competitive and are working hard. We had to replace some very good sophomores from last year’s team, but I think we are up to the challenge. It should be another exciting year.”
