IOWA LAKES RELEASES MEN’S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
A statewide television game against Southeastern Community
College highlights a 30-game regular season schedule released by
Iowa Lakes Community College. The Laker men will participate in
the JUCO Jam at the Knapp Center in Des Moines against
Southeastern on Sunday, December 16th. All games are televised
statewide by Mediacom.
The schedule includes 14 home games, 13 road games and three
neutral contests. It also includes 14 Region XI contests.
Other highlights of the schedule include six regular season
contests against NJCAA Division I colleges including Central
Community College, Iowa Western, Marshalltown (2), Northeastern
& Southeastern. The annual alumni game is set for Saturday,
October 27with a start time of 4 p.m.
“With Coach Dusty Wadlington’s assistance, we were able to
put together a very competitive schedule,” said Head Men’s
Basketball Coach Troy Larson. “Our non-league portion is very
challenging and will help prepare us for league play. I’m also
excited about having 14 home games; it should be very exciting
for our fans.”
