HEALTH CAREERS FEATURED AT SPENCER CAMPUS
OF IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Individuals interested in health careers are invited to attend the Fourth Allied Health Career Day at the Spencer campus in early October. 

Several careers will be offered in mini-sessions.  The variety of health careers presented will help clarify a career path for those who are undecided.  Those who know what they want to pursue can have their decision confirmed for them. 

Featured careers are Massage Therapist, Medical Assistant, Medical Office Technology and Surgical Technology.  Hands-on activities and speakers from the different health careers are planned in four sessions Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to Noon at the Spencer Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.  Lunch will be provided.

The day’s events are designed for students and adults who want to pursue a health career.  Parents and guidance counselors are welcome to attend, as well.  The Spencer campus is located at 1900 N. Grand Ave., Spencer.
